 Deborah's Poem

I have yet to experience life

I know not what the future holds. Yet the hardships of the present, Have already taken their tolls.

Although young and naive as I may be, I have lived the toughest of lives. No one knows my troubling secrets, for those I always must hide.

I am not a stranger to pain, nor will I ever be. It binds me in its heavy chains-- like a prisoner, I'll never be free.

I need not your sorrow, nor your pity. I fight my battles alone. I'm not a victim, but a survivor. I can and must fend for my own.

Deborah

Our daughter Deborah was free of her pain and heavy chains early Monday morning December 2. She lives in our hearts forever. Parents: Dave and Nina Milanowski
